A bit of information on the person behind the curtain. My real name is Judy Yen. Born in Taiwan, immigrated to the US when I was a wee lass, and am fluent in Mandarin Chinese. I'm currently in pursuit of a Ph.D. in Biology (specifically, Virology) from the University of California, San Diego...when I'll graduate is a point of contention between myself and my thesis project (damn viruses!).
